I am one of the few attorneys in Colorado admitted to practice before the United States Court of Federal Claims, located in Washington, D.C. With my competitive fee structure, I can save you considerable expense, while still providing the same high level of quality legal services that people have come to expect from federal claims attorneys.
In cases with the Court of Federal Claims, the federal government stands as the defendant and may be sued by citizens seeking monetary redress. For this reason, the Court has been referred to as the “keeper of the nation’s conscience” and “the People’s Court.”
The Court of Federal Claims is authorized to hear primarily money claims founded upon the Constitution, federal statutes, executive regulations, or contracts. Many cases before the Court involves government contracts. In recent years, the court’s Fifth Amendment takings jurisdiction has expanded to include cases involving environmental and natural resources issues.
Other matters handled by the Court of Federal Claims include civilian and military pay disputes; intellectual property; and various statutory claims against the United States by individuals, domestic and foreign corporations, states and localities, Indian tribes and nations, and foreign nationals and governments. Congress also has authorized the court to review administrative agency decisions under various federal compensation programs.
If you or your business has a dispute with the federal government, I can give your claim a Colorado voice.
