Senate Bill 15-196 was recently passed by the Colorado 17th General Assembly in both the House and Senate, and is now before Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper for his signature. This landmark legislation has several features, including the establishment of an industrial hemp certified seed program coordinated by the Colorado Department of Agriculture. The Colorado Department of Agriculture, under its Plant Industry Division, has established provisions and requirements of the Industrial Hemp Regulatory Program Act, Title 35, Article 61.
